Amrita School of Engineering was started in 2002. Conceived of as the grooming ground for future engineering professionals of India, the School's vision is to produce quality engineers with an attitude of service, for the benefit of the society and nation.

 

This school is located in close proximity to the ashram headquarters and as such, students have the opportunity to receive direct guidance and support from Chancellor Amma.

The School has adopted credit based course curricula and syllabus is industry-oriented. Extensive industry-academia interaction is promoted; all this makes engineering education at Amrita a unique and enriching experience for students and faculty alike. The school has attarcted several faculty members who have were earlier associated with premier institutions in India and abroad.
